Valentina is a Corporate Solicitor at Duncan & Toplis Legal Services.
She advises on a wide range of matters relating to company law and practice, including corporate governance, shareholder agreements and articles of association, restructuring, acquisitions and sales of companies and assets, partnership agreements, and other company law matters.
Valentina gained her corporate law experience whilst working in the corporate and commercial department of an established London law firm. She acted for a variety of UK and international clients in different sectors, ranging from large corporates to medium/small private businesses. Before that, she trained at the London branch of a leading Italian law firm and qualified as a solicitor in 2018.
Valentina holds a law degree (with Honours) and an MSc in Law, Business and Management from the University of Law in London, where she also completed her Legal Practice Course (LPC) with distinction. Before moving to London, Valentina worked at leading multinational investment banks in Moscow, specialising in operations and the settlement/clearing of international financial instruments. Her undergraduate degree was in Economics. She also holds a degree in Russian Law, and she is a native Russian speaker.
